Carrying Capacity– The ranch is rated at 425+/- head year long by the BLM and State Land Grazing Departments. Plus an ephemeral increase may be requested on wet years.

Elevation & Terrain– The lower elevation portion of the ranch rests in the southern pastures near Beer Bottle Wash and is fairly level desert land with a few small desert hills and big drainages. The ranch climbs in the elevation and becomes rolling hills in the middle pastures and finally has some small mountains. The highest elevations are the mountain peaks in excess of 2600′ elevation. The northern end is near Wickenburg.

Feed and Vegetation– The southern portion of the ranch has a lot of open country conducive of ephemeral country in the flats with a lot of feed found in several large open drainages named Beer Bottle Wash, Coyote Wash and Jack Rabbit Wash. The middle country is a transition near Vulture Mine and continues to gain strength in year round feed as you head north. The northern end of the ranch seems to have more year round feed such as Galleta and needles grama. There is strong browse through the ranch of; Mesquite, Ironwood, Blue Palo Verde, Catclaw, and Mormon Tea. The ranch will also be a strong producer of spring feed (fileria and other forbs).

Water– The ranch has 12 wells and 17 dirt tanks. They are in varied levels of production. The ranch is stocked now and considered to have strong water distribution for a desert ranch.

Cattle– None included with the sale, however cattle may be purchased by private treaty at a mutually agreed price between the buyer and the seller.
